Unit 31 Project Completed Early

Property owners who voted in favor of a Special Assessment to have City water lines installed in their neighborhood are now reaping the benefits.  Construction crews finished the installation of water lines along with 111 fire hydrants five months ahead of schedule.  Already, over 100 property owners in the residential area known as Port Malabar Unit 31 have signed up to become customers of the municipal water system.  Homeowners in the area are urged to connect to the water service before October 1 when the connection rates are scheduled to increase. [More]
