Road closures & traffic advisories

PALAU ST SE ROAD CLOSURE

Beginning January 8, 2009, the City will be replacing the culvert pipe that runs under Palau St SE between Windsor Ave SE and Palatka Rd SE.  As a result of this replacement, Palau St SE will be closed between Windsor Ave SE and Palatka Rd SE through January 22, 2009

Detours routes will be in place.

 

CULVER DR NE ROAD CLOSURE

Beginning December 17, 2008 through January 15, 2009, Culver Dr NE will be closed while intersection improvements are completed at Palm Bay Road. 

Minton Rd will be the designated detour route.

Businesses on Culver Dr  NE should be accessed via Emerson Dr NE.

 

WYOMING DR SE LANE CLOSURES

Beginning January 5, 2009, the City of Palm Bay will be replacing the culvert pipe that runs under Wyoming Dr SE between Tharp Rd SE and Tradewinds Ave SE.  As a result of this replacement, Wyoming Dr SE will be one lane through this area until January 8, 2009

Residents should expect minor delays.

 

TROPICANA ROAD  NE ROAD CLOSURE

Beginning January 6, 2009 at 6:30am, further work will be performed on the drainage system under Tropicana Rd NE at Palm Bay Road.  As a result of this work, Tropicana Rd NE will be closed at Palm Bay Road until January 7, 2009 at 6:30pm

Knecht Rd NE will be the designated detour route.

 

PALM BAY ROAD LANE CLOSURES

Brevard County has begun the Palm Bay Road Widening Project from Minton Road to RJ Conlan Boulevard, including .5 miles of Babcock Street.  This project consists of the widening of Palm Bay Road to six lanes with resurfacing, drainage improvements, bridge widening at I-95, and new signalization and signage along Palm Bay Road.  Commuters will experience nightly lane closures from 6:30pm to 7:00am.  Brevard County estimates this project will last approximately 950 days from January 3, 2008.
