Pet-Friendly Parks in Palm Bay!
Palm Bay now has six City parks that have been designated as pet-friendly: Bill Madden Park, Dewar Park, Liberty Park (shelter and sidewalks only), Lynbrook Park, and Stearns Point Park. For more information, please call (321) 953-8912. Locations and amenities for these six parks can be found here.
Palm Bay Turns 50!
Palm Bay was chartered on January 16th, 1960 and is looking forward to a year-long celebration with several events planned throughout the next year. The Palm Bay Recreation Advisory Board (RAB) will be the core committee to formulate and carry out these planned events. The RAB is looking for both input and assistance with this task. If you have any ideas you would like to see the city do for this celebration, please put them in writing to the Palm Bay Parks and Recreation Department, 1150 DeGroodt Rd., Palm Bay, FL 32908. For more information email us at palmbayturns50@pbfl.org or call (321) 953-8961. The RAB is also forming various event committees and would like Palm Bay citizens to participate on those committees. The 50th Anniversary Committee meets every second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm at the Palm Bay Community Center, 1502 Port Malabar Blvd. The public is invited.
Super Spectacular Garage Sale - Apr. 10th
Join us for Florida's Biggest Garage Sale on Saturday, April 10, 2010. Vendors will be selling their "treasures" at both City Hall and the Palm Bay Community Center from 8:00am to 2:00pm.
