What was being referred to as the "Southeast Community Park" has been officially named "Bill Madden Park". The Park is a two-sided effort to bring recreation to an area while saving its wetlands from dumping and pollution. The location of the park will be on 10 acres at 2860 Eldron Blvd. SE. The park will be centered around a lake with a fishing pier and canoe launch. Preserved forest and wetlands with a paved, multi-use loop trail, a pavilion and basketball courts round out the proposal.
