City Manager

Susan Hann, P.E., AICP, ICMA-CM, is currently the City Manager for the City of Palm Bay, Florida. Sue has been with Palm Bay for 13 years, 5 of which were as the City’s Public Works Director. She also spent about 9 years in various professional capacities with Brevard County and several years in the private sector. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and is a licensed engineer, certified planner and credentialed manager. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Public Works Association and is a frequent author and speaker regarding leadership and management topics.

• Utilities

Deputy City Manager

Chad C. Shoultz, is currently the Deputy City Manager for the City of Palm Bay, Florida. Chad has been with Palm Bay since 1998, during which time he spent 7 years as the City’s Assistant Public Works Director. He brings professional diversity to the position with experience in project estimating, engineering design and financial planning.  He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and is a CFP® professional. He has held leadership roles in the professional organizations he is a member of and volunteers as a coach for youth sports.
