Planning and zoning board

Function:

Conducts hearings and makes recommendations to City Council in regards to requests for proposed changes in the land development regulations (rezoning, conditional uses), proposed subdivisions, and revisions to the comprehensive plan.

 

Membership Requirements:

City resident at least one (1) year

 

Maximum Number of Members:

Nine (9)

 

Length of Term:

3 Years

 

Meeting Location:

City Hall Council Chambers, 120 Malabar Road, SE, Palm Bay

 

Meeting Day/Time:

1st Wednesday of each month, 7:00 p.m.

 

Requires filing of Statement of Financial Interests with Brevard County Supervisor of Elections.  Board considers quasi-judicial matters.
